¿CUÁL ES MI NOTAM?
NOTAM es un aviso emitido para informar a los aviadores de ciertas condiciones importantes que pueden afectar la seguridad en vuelo y en tierra.. Es una abreviatura de la palabra inglesa “aviso a los aviadores”. Los publican las autoridades aeronáuticas y los aeropuertos pertinentes de conformidad con el convenio de la OACI – Anexo 15.
La mayor parte del texto de los NOTAM consta de abreviaturas y acrónimos y se publica en inglés.
¿QUÉ SON LAS SERIE NOTAM?
Las series de NOTAM internacionales están en 4 series separadas, definidas por las letras A, B, C, S en inglés:
Una serie
Serie A, reglas generales, Las instalaciones de navegación y comunicación incluyen información sobre restricciones y actividades del espacio aéreo en FL 245 y superiores, y aeropuertos abiertos al tráfico internacional.
Serie B
La Serie B incluye información sobre restricciones y actividades del espacio aéreo por debajo del FL 245, así como información sobre aeródromos que están directamente relacionados con los vuelos de las FIR y están abiertos al tráfico nacional dentro de las FIR.
Serie C
La serie C es la serie con información sobre aeropuertos donde se permiten vuelos VFR y actividades VFR.
Serie S
La Serie S es una serie que indica las condiciones que se presentan por nieve, hielo, aguanieve o charcos en el área de operación del aeródromo y afectan la operación. Se prepara de acuerdo con el Anexo -15 y se publica con un número de serie separado.
