Del artículo de AM [autoria no identificada] un De aquí y de allá (IV-1924). Stravinsky percibió en Barcelona afinidades entre la sardana y la khorovod, Danza rusa que también se baila en círculo. Después de escuchar junio, obra maestra del género, exclamó “¡más Garreta!”. Dijo que escribiría una sardana. Joan Salvat se lo explicó a Revista Musical Catalana en una crónica transcrita en esta sección (1-III-2017). El musicólogo Jaume Ayats ha descubierto un autógrafo (imagen) donde Stravinsky identifica la sardana con la khorovod su Pájaro de fuego. FICTA Edicions ha anunciado el concurso de composición titulado La Sardana de Igor Stravinsky. Este año marca medio siglo desde la muerte de Stravinsky (San Petersburgo, 1882 – Nueva York, 1971).
